I agree, I loved them all and want to sit down with each on it's own. When I blended all of them together it was hard for each to stand out. A lot of the issue was the order that they were consumed in, we had the Maine and were just excited to be drinking a ton of stout. It was an embarrassment of riches and we ran out of time to get to old Rasputin, which I'm sure is going to be epic. Moral of the story, beer is a lot of fun.

 

Great Lakes Lake Erie Monster while watching Tim Duncan take it to the Heat.

 

I'll complete a thumbprint trifecta on this page...fitting, too, because I was deciding between my singles of imperial, Berliner and this. Cheers!

 

The first picture I posted in this thread looked great. Unfortunately it's back to terrible photo, great beer posts. Wasn't planning on having any tonight but I couldn't wait.

New Glarus Scream DIPA



Really, really incredible stuff and dangerously drinkable. No idea what the alcohol content is, but it's a DIPA and I can't taste or smell a hint of booze. It's going down as fast as a light beer, so I need to stop or work's going to be a problem in the morning.

First time trying Another One by Main Beer Company. Very good, but as of this moment, I prefer the Lunch. My Lunch's are also a bit fresher than this Another One tho. The born on date for this one is 3/25/14.

Took wife and kids out for dinner, had an Odell IPA (everytime I have that beer I like it more). Now home relaxing on the deck with one of my personal go to beers. Have a good evening all!

Round two is a Tallgrass Pub Ale.

 

Three Philosophers paired with some delicious shrimp, scallop, chicken and chorizo paella

 

Ithaca Flower Power IPA. A "gift" from a family member. Not a huge IPA fan, but wow, is this one good!

 

Brand new brewery that just opened this weekend. This is their IPA. They are trying something crazy.... its called balance. Great hop profile and a solid malt base as well. I dig it.

I may be in the minority, but I feel Spiteful may be one of the most underrated breweries in Chicago. Their IPAs are consistently enjoyable.
