It will be awhile. The last Ol Oi we sent to oak was in February of 2013. Most of that beer became blend 1. We just brewed Ol Oi again recently and will send it to oak this month. - Jeff

I had it at the brewery and could not even taste a hint of honey. Maybe it's better out of the bottle but draft had nothing. It was a good beer but not what I was expecting. I'll have to try a bottle I brought back soon.

I can only speak for myself and Kmello who drank the bottle with me but we got honey out of it. Matter of fact, other than fresh hopslam I can't think of another beer that had honey added that I could actually pull out.

Also I ALWAYS think JK beer is better out of the bottle. Always. Sometimes it tastes like a totally different beer to me on draft.

I've found that to be mostly true, too. With Atrial being the gargantuan-sized exception.

Hell man, AR batch 3 outta the bottle was different to me than draft. I loved it much more outta the bottle too. I dunno, maybe its just my mind fkn with me.

When I was there this past Saturday and had it on cask from the tap room, I thought it was remarkable. Then having it on the outside station, it was good, but then lingering honey wasn't there to envelope the back of my tongue. Excited to try a bottle.
