What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #596

Thanks! I actually wrote the review for NBS in character. That was a fun episode for so many reasons. Heartbreaking in many ways too. Like all GoT episodes, basically.

 

Lake Erie Monster, solid beer but based on what I heard about it I thought it would be a little better.

 

Miller Chill LIME
Not the best brew out on market.

 

Always pick this up when it's in town. Prost!

 

Finally cracked open the Space Ghost! First impression, tastes like Ten Fidy but with a nice kick...and I love Ten Fidy. I wouldn't have guessed it was brewed with ghost peppers (though I'm sure the heat has subsided a little since it was first released) but the heat is definitely present. Overall a delicious brew that I hope is brewed again! Many thanks to @Jason83 for making this happen!


Need some dark black tunes to go with this dark black brew, cheers!

 

Enjoy By followed up with a Speedway Stout.

 

Settling into the summer with some Smuttynose Farmhouse Ale.

 

Cellar cleaning of sorts as I finish off a a black IPA from last year. Still tasting very good though!

Finishers:

I picked up a 6 of this for a nice change of pace from my normal IPA buying scheme. A nice, well balanced, and spot on to style amber ale. I couldn't ask for much more. It is very enjoyable.


Nice and juicy pineapples and citrus hops. Good stuff. The astringent bitterness is not as apparent at cooler temps vs when I reviewed it.


Hennepin is a beer that I would totally put on those lists where people ask what 5 beers you would drink on a lost island. Price point is awesome vs imports and the beer is world class.


Homebrew Stout. Super creamy.

My homebrew clone of PseudoSue/Zombie Dust....I must say this turned out awesome..I used a total of 12 oz of Citra hops...any Wisconsinites living close to Menomonie wanna try....message me....gonna try a all Amarillo hop IPA next

Well the one I had was released by Great Lakes Brewing Co. in late May. However, there easily could be another beer called Lake Erie Monster released in late winter haha, I should've specified.

 

Boy that David's Sling Shot is an odd beer... Ommegang Gnommegang next...
