Exactly my problem with session beer. I love Bitter American and Stones Levitation Ale but when they are being sold at the exact same price as the regular IPA's its hard to justify sometimes. Its a pretty clear link between the strength/hoppiness of a beer and the variable cost of a beer so I think some discount should be included.

With that being said, if I could sell out of 4% beer that I am selling for $11/sixer, I'm not sure I would listen to my own advice.

Haha atleast there is some mystical process, potentially involving belgian ghosts/leprechauns that can justify the price increase. I don't think Bitter American can use that excuse....

I've tried a session milk stout and it wasn't great. I may pass and keep drinking my stouts like I enjoy them....full of alcohol. However, the coffee is intriguing.

Really like the 6 pack and 12ozer packaging. Seems like every brewery is ripping us off with whatever they can throw into a bomber these days... I'll be glad to give it a shot but there aren't many low abv stouts I enjoy due to the thinner mouthfeel. I like em thick!

Awesome, I'll try it. Go To was decent, and Saison was great (I think, I anyway), so who knows. Maybe this'll be a real solid.

Riverhorse Oatmeal Milk Stout and then the coffee infused variant are both very good for people who like a nice non-BA stout .

Sounds like they may be starting up a seasonal 6 pack rotation of non-hoppy beer.

    Summer- Saison
    Fall- Milk Coffee Stout
    Winter- ???
    Spring- ???

Not a big fan of Saisons but I'm definitely looking forward to this Stout!

I had this at Liberty Station several months ago. I don't recall much other than I thought it was very good.
