What beer are you drinking now? #604

Good morning BAs! Got to go with my wife this morning so no beer for me until afternoon. My son and I quaffed this with dinner last night - both good and cheap - helluva combo. I may drive back to Frankenmuth to pick some more up - it's only 5-6 hours depending on construction on I-80.

That's a 33.8 fluid ounce bottle, incidentally.

So this was amazing. Tasted more like a BA scotch ale than a barleywine, but delicious nonetheless.

Today's the day USA

 

Good morning all you BA's! We're still getting settled into our new place. Today's project: finish unpacking the spare room (a.k.a. unpacking all of the boxes of stuff you're not exactly sure what you're gonna do with or where you wanna put it) and hang curtains. So, I am starting off with this:

Breakfast with a Kona Pipeline porter and ... something so surprisingly delicious, courtesy of that stellar BA @BlueRogue .
A stout jelly from Above The Dam Jam made with Rising Tide's Ursa Minor stout. (Even the btter half, who will wrinkle her nose when she finds out I am cooking with beer, loves it!!) Can ya tell we finally got wi-fi? Cheers and beers, everyone!

 

Kind of a no brainer.

 

Worked all week then busted my ass all weekend at my new side job. Then woke up this morning and mowed the lawn. I deserve this breakfast beer. Thanks to @Narthax for sending this one over in a trade!


It's gonna be a day of Grateful Dead and World Cup Soccer for me! Cheers!

To Øl Final Frontier Double IPA


It's really hard to get a decent IPA out here in Asia, but this one certainly fit the bill and then some.

 

4 mile walk followed by mowing the lawn, all before 11:00am. Now an absolutely delicious local Pale Ale from BBC.

 

Got the last one on the shelf. It's almost like the world was saying don't worry we'll save you one so you can try it for the first time. Bombs away!

Still loving this one. Seems like i found a chameleon jai alai though.

 

In keeping with the Founders love on this page, a little morning coffee while cleaning the garage. Bottled 09/12/13, the coffee has faded, but the chocolate is really coming through. Super tasty treat for chocolate lovers!
