Yes. Orange wax. It's not the other guy's fault. Seems to happen more often now, with more beers. That's why all the breweries that do regular beers and then decide to also do sours, should have a "side project" facility/brewery.

Do you like Scotch/Scottish Ales? Then yes. Much better than Old Chub.

Backwoods Bastard is even better. It's that beer aged in bourbon barrels. Here's BA list of Scotch Ale/Wee Heavy. I'm sure you'll see one or two that you had before.

    Finishers:

Got a couple left. This stuff is nice.

My go-to beer since I moved up to Michigan and fridge beers became a thing for me. Besides Short's releases every other week getting my money, Founders year round stuff is basically fridge beer extremely frequently.

Drinking up the last of these awesome session IPAs until I go back to OH again. I think a 15 pack of All Day is required to replace the session IPA segment of the fridge. I saw some really fresh cases this weekend.

Last can of the random mix 6 pack I got. A tasty and robust porter. All of the cans I had were solid.

Yeah I remember Old Chub being better years ago, but maybe my tastes have changed...

I think it's not so much taste changing as it is perception. Nearly all of my reviews go down if I revisit beers. After having the classic stuff like Belhaven and Traquair wee heavy's and other prime examples of the style, not many can match up to that level after experiencing them.
