    It's an old online handle I used playing a game called Shadowbane back in 2002 or 2003 whenever it was out. It has stuck for my online name for everything since.

    Khak is a bastardized version of North Cackalacky which is in itself a bastardized version of my home state's name.
    Cane is because it's all about the []_ _[] (that's the University of Miami for those that care).

    Around the time I joined there seemed to be some hate in the beer community for ipas. Some people assumed you were a noob for liking them. Even had some BA's make comments about the name once I joined. The funny thing is most of the people talking ish were riding a school bus when I started drinking good beer. I love drinking many different styles but I will always have fresh ipas in the fridge.
