Some of you may remember a thread I began a few weeks back about a trader who agreed to trade me a JD Cake, and then changed his mind and took a different (better?) offer. (for reference purposes only) http://www.beeradvocate.com/communi...ne-most-of-you-wont-want-to-deal-with.183678/ Yup, @Ant4711 is on the hot seat again, only this time for a different reason. Anthony apparently felt pretty bad about what went down, and seemingly made it his personal mission to make it right. So this arrived today: Yup, a muthafucking Apple Brandy BA Mexican Cake. That's about as legit a "make right" as I can possibly imagine. Glowing feedback has already been left, and the Cantillons I had agreed to send him are on the way. Don't hold the one-time error against him folks, I have 100% confidence when I say he's a good dude, and I'd trade again with him in a heartbeat.
Wow,great to hear this......Way to make things right, @Ant4711 Good to see some positives vibes here....... Cheers
I don't know - I was pretty offended by the whole debacle and won't really consider it resolved until I receive at least a JD Mexican Cake.
The OP sent "the Cantillons" as agreed. If that's the definition of free beer, I'm willing to send free beer to you asap.
Just wondering what the point of the initial thread was. Put Ant4711 in a situation where he had to make the trade? Even though the OP said he wouldn't entertain a trade with him. This is how I see it: Step 1: Bad Trader Thread Step 2: Mexican Cake Step 3: Good Trader Thread Three weeks ago the OP wouldn't trade with Ant4711. Now it's a one-time error. Very confusing.
Totally agree; I'd skip trading with the dude and I'm sure many others will as well. But for some this "making amends" will sway them if they're on the fence. I just had to make my lame joke. Offer still stands - anyone wants to send me Loons and I'll send you "free" beer.
no, he went out of his way to make right what was an initial screw-up. I'm not going to post all the texts/emails from someone who was clearly remorseful over the incident and wanted to correct it. you can do what you want, I personally don't give a shit
Wow, that's awesome... saw the initial thread when it was posted, glad to hear everything worked out better than could be expected. Great BA's here
