    Don't mean to start the Goose Island Bourbon County variants discussion as a point of contention and don't want to add to the fatigue that sets in from these discussions, but one of the brewery staff relayed last evening that the line-up this year will be BCBS, BCBCS along with vanilla and a hazelnut/mocha version as the Proprietors release. Just wanted to get it out there so we don't have to speculate for the next 4 months. Enjoy the rest of your summer.

    Will definitely wanna try vanilla but I'll probably pass on that Prop version.

    I was able to try nhuthlu at the 26th anniversary event and if they are able to impart the flavors in BCBS then it will certainly be worth a try.

    The Prop has to be 100% in my wheelhouse for me to even think about trying to get it.. It's just too hard to obtain otherwise. Coconut is one of my favorite things in the world so I had to go all out to get that one but this round I'll be content if I can get some vanilla.

    Sounds like the vanilla will be a little further reaching similar to how BCBBW was last year? Or will it be more like Backyard?

    I'm guessing Vanilla would follow the backyard distribution, but I really have no idea on that.

    I have only seen bcbs on the shelves for about 10$ a bottle or 30 a four pack.

    How much do the other bottles run for?

    Just curious.

    They could literally put anything is Bourbon County and most of us would still froth at the mouth for it.

    Last year I got the Proprietors version in the $18-$30 range, but it can still be found in the city now for around $70. The Backyard I got between $16-$18. I got most of my BCBS and BCBCS 4-packs at Woodman's in WI because they were much cheaper than in Chicago.

    More BW? I guess we got lucky in AZ but that's what "sat around" the longest. Pretty sure we had some on shelves in Tucson months after the release.

    Had to pay $53 with purchase, shipping and tax for my bottle of Prop last year. Worth it.

    The little bit of BCBS we got that trickled in here last year sold for $6 a piece.
