In the past 2 years I have grown to absolutely love beer. I've decided to make a beer bucket list for brews that I absolutely MUST have before my demise in the, hopefully, distant future.

I value a lot of opinions on here, and was wondering what you guys suggest I put on my Beer Bucket List

ps. I like all types of beer.

    Two of mine are:

    Pliny the Younger
    Westy 12 in Belgium

Alpine- ideally a trip to the brewery itself, but maybe a trade for some bottles/growlers. Nelson, Duet, Hoppy Birthday, and Bad Boy are all bucket list worthy.

Visit another country to soak up the beer scene- England, Belgium, Gemany, etc. It's something I really want to do badly in the future.

A trip to Belgium and visit Cantillon and the Trappist breweries.

On my beer bucket list.

Went there back in April. So worth it. Got to try eight of their beers and brought back a bunch of Nelson and Pure Hoppiness. Amazing beers.

My bucket list is more to visit breweries. I've been to all the local ones near me and last year I got a chance to go to Stone and Green Flash. In 3 weeks I'm going to Cantillon and De Halve Maan and if I'm lucky maybe the Kernel in London.

My big bucket list of breweries I absolutely want to visit:
    -Hill Farmstead
    -The Alchemist
    -Alpine
    -Founders
    -Bells
    -3 Fonteinen
    -Weihenstephaner
    -AleSmith
    -Port City/Lost Abbey
    -Russian River
    -3 Floyds
    -Cigar City
    -Jester King
    -Firestone Walker
    -Toppling Goliath
    -Westvleteren
    -New Glarus
    -The Bruery

There's probably many more I'm forgetting. I will most likely be in Southern California sometime 6-12 months from now (I'm from there) for a vacation and I plan on trying to hit Alpine and AleSmith at the very least.

I've been lucky to be able to have some of the best beers in the world (Heady Topper, Double Sunshine, Pliny, BCBCS, etc.) in my 2 years of craft beer drinking . However there are definitely some awesome beers out there that I have not tried and may not ever try. My beer bucket list most certainly includes these 5 beers.

Samuel Adams Millennium (super whale, but it's worth a shot)
Goose Island Bourbon County Vanilla Stout (the news that this may be the variant this year, this might happen sooner than later)
Hill Farmstead Beyond Good and Evil
    Cantillon Fou Foune
    Hill Farmstead Double Barrel Damon

with honorable mentions to Cigar City's Hunaphu and 3 Floyds Dark Lord regular and variants.

I would do terrible, unforgivable things to try some of the loon super whales. Loerik, pikkulintu, ect. But I know I'll kick the bucket far before I get to try any :slight_frown:

Both Pliny's, Parabola, any FFF. Living in VT helped take down a huge portion of beers that would be on most peoples list. Lawsons Double Sunshine should be on anybody's list that hasn't had it. For foreign beers I'd say Westy 12 is first and foremost.

A trip to vermont is on my bucket list. Looking forward to lawsons and HF as are many other ba's.
Also, it isn't in bottles yet, but BA tweak will be out sometime this year and I am absolutely up for buying a case.

I am not a fan of Belgian ale but I back this suggestion totally. I have been to England 16 times wiith many more planned. What a tremendous beer scene! Also visit local pubs and breweries in your area and take "beercations" Can't be beat.

Right?! I may or may not be force to do some incriminating things to acquire the beers on my list and those 2 HF beers specifically.
