I was told by a few people ive trade Blithering Idiot with that it doesnt have a bottle date and pretty much is on the buyer to track it well. I have what I was told is a 2010 which I am waiting to crack open. Had 2013 and few in love, it is so good in my eyes

 

I've been consuming my beer incorrectly...

 

Newer Weyerbacher has a blue bottled on date by the shoulder of the bottle.

Anything before 2013 has no date. 2013 was the labelling change. Does it have a purple cap or a cap with a jesters head?

 

I'd have to go home to be 100% sure, but I believe it's the purple cap.

 

Purple caps are the older style logo. It is 2012 or older.

 

I've been watching this tread from inception. There appears to be one person continuously absent

 

Has said person shipped or received? I haven't been tracking...

Purple caps are 2012 or older, but that label is definitely 2011 or older. Without having the bottle in hand I can't be sure but I'm pretty sure it's a 2010. Either way it's a good 3+ years old and should be drinking great.

I guess we'll have to get round 2 going in the same thread so we can one day be at 1/10th....

 

I have a box to send out for my failure in the NHL BIF, but I'm always ready to get another box together.

 

This has been a pretty awesome group. I'd be down to continue the love.

 

Although I haven't received my haul from this BIF I figured I would share the haul I got today. I got home from work to find the assault that @ufmj had done to my porch. He's an awesome trader and BA.
