Fort George 3-way IPA

Just enojoyed another one tonight. Smooth beer.

 

I too am down with this beer. It's my favorite ipa I can buy at this moment. It seems to be just about everywhere and at a decent price. I am hoping it sticks around as long as last years version.

 

I cracked open a can last night, and it really is wonderful stuff. So bright, juicy, and citrusy.

 

I think a moderator needs to remove the "aka RPM" from this thread's title. Inaccurate. Completely different beers.

 

Wow - high praise! Even more excited to try it now and the best part is I can just go pick up some cans at the store!

 

congrats on the run - my legs could only take one post run beer and i didnt crack it until after 5pm...

 

Wife and I did a blind test of fresh 3way and fresh Heady Topper and 3 Way won for both of us. Just sayin.

 

Also, nothing like RPM in my opinion

 

But that can't be. HT is the best beer in the world.

 

I've gone though several 4packs, great stuff

 

3 way is basically imperial suicide squeeze, and i'm ok with that.

 

I bought 2 more 4 packs yesterday, Totalwine Lynnwood still has a few 4 packs of it in the cooler in the back. Wait, maybe I should go buy them out.

Hell, HT ain't even the best ImpIPA in the world. That title goes to the fresh-hopped version of Piled Higher I had at Bale Breaker last year.

 

I believe this. I hope they can it this year; cans of Cowiche and Piled High in my beer fridge would make for a mighty fine fall.

(And yet... you gave the best imperial IPA in the world only a 4.25? You are hard to please, man.)

Thank you for your interest in Bale Breaker Brewing Company. As a new
brewery, our volumes of seasonal beers are still too low for it to make
sense for us to can them, so Piled High will again be a draft-only offering.
It's also a very difficult beer to brew, which is another reason why the
production is quite limited!

Hope you can swing by for a pint this fall.

Looks like I'll need to truck it over to Yakima. Please resume your discussion of 3-Way.

 

I was talking to the BB guys at the WA Brewers Festival, they figured we'd see Piled High in Seattle on tap.

Absolutely epic beer. Had a growler in Leavenworth last October. Amazing.

 

An imperial session beer?

 

Note to self: Pick up Suicide Squeeze today.

 

Might want to check the dates on the bottom of those Suicide Squeeze cans, great beer, but I'm under the impression they haven't brewed/sent cans out in awhile bc it was their previous seasonal, not a year-round offering.
