Catracho5, it's Spanish for Honduran or Hondureno, the country that my parents immigrated from, Honduras. The 5, that's how many are in my immediate family. Husband, wife, and three kids!

 

When I was a youngster I was a die-hard skater. Everywhere I went I got there on my skateboard and if I didn't get there by skateboard, I certainly brought it with me. Well, being a skater means trying to pull off tricks and trying to pull off tricks means you're going to bail from time to time. I always had scabbed knees and elbows and after one particular botched trick when I was 13 years old left me with road rash on my face. Everyone called me Scab ever since and it has stuck, even now, that I am 31 years old.

The Imperator part comes from me taking a Latin class when I was 15 years old. I learned two things that year: 1. I love Latin and 2. I love Ancient Roman history. I continued learning Latin well into my adult years. "Imperator" is Latin for "leader" or "general" or "commander of everything" essentially. It's where we get the words "imperial" and "imperative". Typically, when I register user names, just plain ole "Scab" is already taken, so I usually add something Latin (which I love) and obscure so I can pretty well guess that the name will be available and it'll be easy to remember.

Thus: ImperatorScab

Jirin is the name of a character in a comic I used to write.

It was like a scifi comedy. He was the bastard 4th son of an Emperor. When his brother was framed for murdering his sister he became next in line for the throne, but he wanted nothing to do with it so he ran away and posed as a traveling musician.
