One is swill.
The other is watered down swill.

 

I will drink Budweiser, especially in a cold long neck bottle sometimes, but Bud Light I'll only drink if there is nothing else available.

 

Not as different as many would have you believe. Why not try them blind side by side and report back?

 

Bud Light is awful stuff, it would be better if it was bland, but it's weirdly sweet, and even ice cold it blows. Been a long time since I had a Bud, but IMO way too much carbonation, and you get a case of Bud gut. = bloated.

 

I prefer bud light over bud.

Let me get this right-you never had a Bud....in your entire life you never had a Bud.....not that you tried it & did not like it but you never had a Bud...you live in the U.S. and you never had a Bud. If I have that correct I think you should tell your wife or your significant other that she is a lucky lady because she has a one in a million guy.

 

It seems BeerAdvocate is for asking questions about beers in place of trying them to get the answers.

 

I have never had it, I got into beer well after being 21 via a friend who home brewed and was a beer nerd, so I bipassed all the macros and started out with pretty much all craft stuff and a few pseudo craft beers like summer shandy and honey weiss because I didn't know the difference.

 

Is this real?

this weekend I was forced to have cans and normal ones at that since I was buying beer for 18 people on the river and then lake. After Miller/Coors/Bud and Bud light, Reg bud was way better, then bud, and miller/coors were the most waterlike of the four. Back to the good stuff now, but it worked for two days.
