Clown Shoes Millonario (Mass only) – 5/16 – This is the first in our super limited release Albino Cetaceous Series: Chocolate Sombrero aged in cognac barrels. It’s just about 100 cases of volume. MA distribution only, sometime in June or July.

I predict many future ISO threads for this one, myself probably included.

With the name and the logo like that + their label art. I can't take them seriously and because of it I have no idea what their beers taste like. I'm not not into comic books and random ADHD art. If your beers are really that good, there's no need for thos labels. Just my $0.02. This one and Billionaire do sound good, I must admit. But I'm sure just like Billionaire it won't get distro'd in SC.

Cannot agree...labels and what's inside the bottle are totally unrelated.

While I am sure they aren't losing sleep over your lack of purchase of their beer, you are the one who is missing out.

I'm actually glad they are finally doing something special for MA Only. Most breweries do it. Having that said, Im definitely picking 2 or 3 bottles of this bad boy.

That's fine. Just had one too many bad experiences with bright, flashy, colorful, shocking and cool factor labels/bottles. Some of the best beers have very simple, safisticated labels. Now that I've been re-assured by you guys and others that Clown Shoes indeed make great beers, I'll give 'em a try. Thank you!

Have to disagree. Good examples are Founders Breakfast Stout and Westbrook Mexican Cake.

I actually have a friend who runs the craft section of a distributor that refuses to drink Clown Shoes for the same exact reasons. He really doesn't like the Tramp Stamp name at all, and he thinks it's not appropriate to sell beer with a misogynistic theme. On that ground, I guess I can somewhat understand, but I don't really care about being PC with beer all that much/my moral code must be loose. This guy is not alone though.

I love how attentive Clown Shoes is to fan questions, and I think some of the beer is pretty good so they aren't scaring me away.

Glad you will give us a try. I'd hate for my labels to stop you from trying at least some of our good barrel aged releases. It's a brand thing. With a name like Clown Shoes we cant just make straight typography loaded labels. We also understand that with this name and style not everyone will be a fan. Can't please everyone and that is OK.
