    My first rare. It was worth the weight.

    The taste was amazing. Mouthfeel a bit thin.

    Nothing too special. The oatmeal flavors took away from the barrel characteristics.

    Long day at work. Lake Erie Monster will wash it away. A liiiiiiiiiiiittle malty for me (enjoy by 7/31), but good.

    Subtle tastes of old ashtray, burnt meat, brimstone, cold with a mild refreshing tang
    of decaying humanoid flesh.

    It's grill o'clock! Here in the North, good grilling season leaves way too quickly, so when I ask myself, "Should I grill today?" the answer is virtually always, "Yes, you dumbass!"

    Bacon Bubba burger on the left for me; veggie burgers on the right for the wife (hence the foil, to keep them from collapsing); hot dogs for everyone. Hopefully we can get the little guy to eat one; if not, more for me!

    And it's an unwritten rule that you can't grill without a good beer in hand.

    Now inside, enjoying the fruits of my "labor." (Actually, since it's all meat, cheese, and bread, I guess fruits could just as easily be in quotes.) Listening to my favorite song off of my favorite album from one of my all-time favorite bands, inspired by @jhartley.
