Maybe it was the clear bottle (far left of bath tub) that jbakajust1 found offensive.

He's right, using a clear bottle for homebrew is not only inappropriate it is a sin.

Print em. Laminate em. Then glue or tie em to the bottle.

What happened to this thread? Everyone just disappeared after the Kathy Ireland picture was posted. Seems that the post was well appreciated.

Well. This is not a hot retro chick that homebrews. Just some lacing from a wheat beer.

Just after cleaning up a barrel incident... Thought the beer was finished so I added a bung and it exploded when I went back a bit later to check on it.

Those fermenters are really cool, do they help with anything in particular or is it just another style? I'm not familiar with those...

There called "demijohns" in English. They don't sell carboys where I live in Germany, and I hate using plastic due to infection issues I've had with them. These were the only glass alternatives I could find. Here are pics from my google search. They are traditional for making wine in Europe. The advantage of a demijohn is they come in various sizes and mouth openings. Mine is the biggest I could find at 54L, or 13.1 gal. Once more than half full, a basket is necessary to move it; otherwise, breakage is possible. The wide-mouth one is perfect for doing wild yeast fermentations, keeping most of clean while still allowing a decent amount of air to filter in and out. I personally love using them. You also get a beautiful few of the fermentation process.

They're also easy to move around.
