I'm just basing it off your list of local breweries and beers that cost less yet are still around. You said price point is the main problem, then listed beers that don't sell out at lower price points. What is your excuse for those?

I'm not claiming price doesn't have an impact on things like Pentagram. I've even said it's a high price.

I was already planning on buying saga instead. This just makes it easier. Maybe they could put saga in 16 oz cans for us.

Wait! What if they just wet hopped saga! Then, they put it in 16 oz cans. I think I just next leveled myself.

To further derail this thread, has Summit ever done a wet hop beer?

I'm not aware of any, but I've been wrong before.

Summit, let's change this. Brew some wet-hopped saga and give the people what they want!

A Wet Saga, I'd drink it.

I'm drinking a can of Saga now. And I have a keg of it in my basement.

    And I'm not lying.

If Summit does go through with this "Wet Saga", I better get some cred.

I just gotta say, when I could buy Smoke for 11.99 in 2010, and now it's 17.99, something is screwy.

Just imagine what saga would have cost in 2010!

The last post about Wet, which this thread was created to discuss, was back on page 1. Since then, blah this and blah that. Pricing sucks, distro sucks, you suck, I suck, this sucks, that sucks. Darkness Day and freshness of shelfies are in no relation to Wet. My 2 cents is this, damn. No Wet? Ok,that blows, maybe next year. Peace

Ok, so we agree. Pentagram is over priced. Lots of breweries have beer on the shelf too long. Saga Wet would be the greatest cheap beer ever.

The bottle labels would have been $5 bills.

Bummer, WET is such a great beer and I agree 2011 was one of the best recipes so far. I'm sure Surly will bring it back with a bang. Go Big or Go Home style

Is it too early to start complaining 2015 Wet doesn't taste as good as the previous years' versions? :grinning:

The 2015 version of Wet Saga rocks though!
