Do you find that a certain season has the best releases (please give examples) Do you find that a season gets the MOST releases and is therefor the most exciting time to shop for beer? (please explain/ give examples) Or is there a specific season you just find yourself getting the most enjoyment out of beer? (please elaborate.)
i personally would have to pick summer. i think Fall gets the best releases but for me, BBQing, The Beach, or sitting on the porch with a beer on a summer daybeats the great releases we get in fall.
Looking foreword to hearing from you. Cheers.

Summer is fruit-beer time and I unashamedly love it. Fall beers are all Oktoberfests (meh) and pumpkin (BLEH). Winter is at least winter warmers and stouts, so it gets second place from me.

I'm going to have to go with winter. For me this is the time to indulge in heavy stouts and Belgians.

I like big beers on a cold day, -40 can happen here in Calgary and a giant BW or RIS can help ease the pain. -40 is the same in both Fahrenheit and Celsius for all my American friends, (and trivia lovers world wide).

Winter, so my Lagunitas Sucks and SN Celebration itches can be respectively scratched, and because I can rationalize drinking an abundance of boozy Belgians and imperial stouts.

Fall. Love me some pumpkin beers and malty goodness! Other reasons why fall is the best: winter follows after fall that and the big ass stouts arrive. And right after that, Spring/Summer comes around and unloads all those fresh IPAs! And that's why fall is the best.

Easily, winter. Big stouts, Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale, love this time of the year.

Celebration almost made me pick winter, although, Flipsyde made me consider fall as well, SN is a very influential brewery during the cold seasons.

I don't pay much attention to the beer season. I start to watch during the beer playoffs.

Fall for me! The weather here in Vegas makes it so that we get great fall brews with great outside weather. So I can sip an awesome Oktoberfest in the 80's on my porch.

Spring's my favorite. My wife and I always vacation in New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont and the beer scene up there is hard to beat. There's so many different brews that aren't available here in PA. The pub scene and bottle shops are much better than what we have here to.

I definitely agree about the fruit beers and summer time!

Also, for some reason I associate Fall with brown ales (which I love) yet I don't feel like a lot of breweries do a seasonal fall brown. Or am I crazy?

Prime beer season is just at the tail end of fall through the first month of spring for me. That's where I can pick up like 75% of the beers I enjoy the most.

Definitely Fall: brown ales, pumpkin beers, marzens - oh so delicious!

I always think of Fall as brown ale season. Bells Best Brown and SN Tumbler are two that come to mind.
