Hey guys, heading to FB for the first time tomorrow and have a couple questions.

Is there food trucks there on Tuesdays and if so are they any good?

Do they have anything bottled right now or is it just growlers?

    Thanks

    Hey Cane, (Fellow Cane here)

I just got back from my maiden voyage to FB on Saturday and it is safe to say you will be impressed.
I'm not able to answer your food truck question, but I think I can say with certainty that there are no bottles.
Also, the growlers are limited to only their flag-ship beers and none of the limited time tappings.
However, it seems like you are in luck tomorrow as they usually do a special growler release on Tuesdays.

    Enjoy Yourself.

    W

Poblano's Mexican Fusion and Diablo Dogs Hot Dogs are both scheduled for tomorrow. There is a Food Truck Calendar on their website.

They are also supposed to have big screen projectors and the sound on for the USA vs. Belgium game tomorrow at 4 pm. I'm planning to leave work early and get there to watch. Supposedly they are doing some special tappings tomorrow but they haven't said what they are gonna be yet.

Also, at 7 pm they are gonna have growlers of No Crusts for sale. They don't have bottles for sale yet, but they will have growlers of their regular lineup as well as No Crusts.

Definitely a good day to stop by...

If the last release of No Crusts is any indication be prepared for a big crowd.

Cane fans hit up La Spada's on Commerical before going to Funky Buddha.

That used to be our staple before Canes games at the OB.

HUGE Cane fan as well! They usually have one food truck outside. Unfortunately I work tomorrow or I would meet you up there for a beer. You should go to the lounge as well.

Well I ended up going. Despite the crowd it was enjoyable, infectious even. I even managed to snag a growler somehow, [IMG]

Were all those people there for the game or the growler release?

    Yes

Kidding aside most were there for the game. The growler seekers kind of knew where to stand to get a ticket but damned if it wasn't a clusterfuck. It was impossible to have any sort of line due to the crowd but everyone seemed cool.

Figured that'd be about what it looked like last night, with the added bonus of the Soccer game.

I'm wondering if the bottling line arrival date is still on target. It was supposed to be in July, arriving from Italy I think? Depending on when they are bottling the Culinary line of 4 packs, we may see No Crusts in bottles, in August! That thought alone, is very mouthwatering...

Yeah no crust seems to get better every batch. And the Don't tell Reece was awesome. The beers at oakland have never been better IMO, and I'm hugely biased towards the Boca location.

Watched the game then stuck around to get a growler. Agree it was a clusterfuck to get one but glad I did. The No Crusts tasted awesome on draft - better than previous versions for sure. I also had a couple of the Floridian Gone Wild. Not sour or as funky as I would have liked, but it was very sessionable at 3.9%.

How did I manage to miss you in that crowd, Brian?

    LOL
It was pretty crowded dude. I was near the usual growler area though hanging out yelling at the tv. I normally care about sports as much as a goalie cares about synchronized swimming but it was damn infectious.
At like 6 30ish they started handing out tickets, I got mine and got the fuck outside, chatted with some random dude until 7, went and got my growler and left.
But that's the most crowded I've seen the place in a while. The cool thing was everyone was watching the game so I was able to get a beer quick.

After the MBCP crowd I endured (which was run about as well as could be), everything else seems like cake. I didn't make it down to the 1st Anny fest, I'm assuming that was even worse than MBCP release day?

I remember you always being a Boca guy, so it is good to hear that the OP location is starting to really nail the culinary beers. Tweaking those recipes to such a large scale, and getting them zeroed in, under a year's time, is pretty damn impressive as well.

DUDE, the aniv party was a blast. If you go there early and got a table inside LOL------ Crowd was huge but they did a great job. KC said they will make some changes for the next one like actually using the streat for more than a food truck parking lot.

Yeah, airfare spiked on me, before I could buy it, so I couldn't get down there. With the awesomeness that is Allegiant Air, I can fly from Upstate S.C. to FLL for a weekend, for around $100 total, if I catch it at the right time. Makes for a cheap weekend of FB goodness!

So I'm all ready for the BA Muy Bonita bottle release on Tuesday 7/22 at the brewery, but they just sent an email to Snifter Club members that they have bottles available (1 per person) of the Iron & Barleywine for $20 each (Snifter Club only, I believe this was already distributed to the Imperial Club)

Also, heads up for anyone not in the Imperial or Snifter Club, they have More Moro (Blood Orange IPA) available to anyone in the tap room for $10 each, 3 per person limit. I'm going by there after work today...
