    I picked up a few of these yesterday and I loved it. Huge grapefruit flavors and a nice tartness with mellow funk and danky tones. Curious to know what everyone else thinks of this one.

    I also picked up a 4 pack of Birra and although it wasn't terrible, it wasn't my style. I suspect saison lovers will really enjoy it though.

    I loved Funky Gold. @mattisloco brought one to a share and it was my favorite. Then to my surprise I see it on shelves a few days later. One of my favorite Prairies so far.

    Total wine walnut hill is out, but Specs walnut hill has it on the shelf with no limit, said they got quite a bit if it...they also have about three cases of LC#4 on the floor...

    anyone else find it funny that a place named growlers, wont sell growlers of a product they're selling?

    i get it, but it is the little things in life that i derive pleasure from.

    Shrugs...they've been doing that recently on the first day for some of the "bigger" things they get in, and then do fills the next day. Obviously has to do with them being able to sell things by the glass.

    But, yeah, amusing they don't necessarily do it on day one. :slight_smile:

    It was more about spreading the beer out to as many people as possible. We only got a slim keg which means we would only get 8-18 fills out of it (depending on sizes). Plus with some kegs it doesn't make any sense to do growlers with, because of the margins and I'm not a fan of charging an arm and a leg for fills. Point being if ya really wanted a fill I wouldn't turn you away. And if you really wanted it to go we have bottles.

    Love it! Just enough funk to keep it interesting without being overpowering. Has become my summer go-to beer.

    How much was it? I had my buddy's mom bring a bunch of beers up to KC and didn't get a receipt to see how much each bottle was.

    Got two of these today, tried it on tap right after, this beer may be okay after a few months to let the hops fall off, but thought it was barely decent as it is now....
