Zombie Dust

Looks like you'll be going well over $4$. I can't remember exact price of a sixer of ZD but it can't be more than the ~$30? for your two FW beers but ZD is also only locally available whereas your FW beers are distributed to many states. I love both those FW beers but ZD is also one of my top APA's (if not the top). I guess it depends how bad you want to ZD. In other words, I'm pretty much no help but gave you something to mull over.

 

Zombie Dust is great, but I would ask for some other locals to even things out a little bit.

 

Honestly, I feel your best bet to land the ZD is just try to do a locals for locals trade with somebody near by the brewery. No doubt some Pliny or other semi limited cali shelf beers should land some ZD

 

This was my initial thought, you're paying almost twice as much I believe. Perhaps an extra 2 ZD or a local $8 bomber.

 

I don't think this trade is fair to you. Zombie Dust is $10 a sixer at the brewery. Yes, ZD sells out rather quickly when it's released but it's not that difficult to get for someone local as it's released fairly regularly (maybe weekly? not sure as I've not been following their to-go list lately). I agree with evilcatfish - pliny or semi limited cali beers should be good $4$.

 

Yea bad offer for sure. I've been to FFF twice, once on a Monday & once on a Thursday, and got ZD both times. Also found a sixer at a Chicago beer store so it's more available than people make it out to be

 

Time was, FFF stuff was hard to trade for, and overpaying for it was the norm. Modern times, you're overpaying, and there's no reason for it unless you MUST have ZD.

 

Dude, that's what the ISO:FT forum is for! Just post ISO: FFF/Locals FT: California locals. List some of the breweries/beers you have access to and mention you definitely want some Zombie Dust as part of the trade. You'll definitely be hearing from some folks

 

You should get at least 12 ZD for both of those bottles. You'd still be over $4$ but the other side is shipping more weight.

 

Just the bottle of Parabola for a sixer of ZD would be a bad trade for you, let alone also the DDBA.

Pass on this trade and find someone who is looking to make a more reasonable trade.

Sixer is $10 and locals for locals should get it done. At most you might need to add a little since ZD sells out in hours and then is gone for weeks before it sells out in hours again

ZD is good but overrated. And if it's a month old it's not worth trading a parabola. Hell dude, you're in Cali, enjoy your fresh local IPAs and save yourself some heartache.

 

OP and I are going to get this done as soon as fresh ZD is available.
