I bought an Octoberfest kit and am planning on buying extra aroma hops for the end of the boil. Any suggestions? Kit comes with liberty hops for boil.

My recommendation for aroma hops for an Oktoberfest would be 'none' if you really want an Oktoberfest beer.

If you are looking for something different than the run of the mill oktoberfest style, go light with a small amount of saaz or goldings. .25-.5oz with 15 minutes left won't do anything to crazy to it.

Right, thanks. I should have mentioned that it's not a true Oktoberfest, only an Oktoberfest style ale. I got it in one of these True Brew kits and figured I wanted to tweek with it a bit. I don't have the resources to condition a lager.

Personally, I love saphir hops in continental beer styles.

I'm a none guy too, but if I were going to dry hop an Octoberfest I'd go with Hallertau Mitt.
