I just went to their north park location. It's a really neat spot, like one of the cooler brewpubs in San Diego neat. I really wish the beers were better though, I didn't even come close to finishing my tasters.
I should learn that I don't have to finish everything. I was there for the first time not long ago and those tasters bummed me to the point where we basically lost all steam.
I agree the North Park Hess is a cool spot and I agree that the beer they make is hard to drink. They've discounted tickets for the fest through thegoods.com, one of those groupon-like sites. The event will feature beers made from other breweries, which is good for people who don't think Hess makes good beer.
Unlimited samples from other breweries is cool, but I don't think it will be worth going to enjoy everyone else. Hess I could skip.
