I'm down on 8/7. Are you driving or flying?

Long time lurker first time (I think) poster in this thread but it looks like you might be heading from Philly to Pittsburgh on the 5th. If that's the case and you'd like to stop by Pizza Boy in Enola I'd happily meet up and guy you a beer.

Driving, staying at the Westin on High St. I'll also be meeting up with a cousin in Columbus but could definitely make a detour.

My plan was to eat lunch at Pizza Boy on that Wednesday, sounds like I'll see you there!

@kgncfl you're so damn awesome dude! I cannot believe the beermail you sent me. I was so incredibly ecstatic when I finally realized what the hell was waiting for me inside that box.

And then you went over the top throwing in 4 bottles of Thirsty Dog and some swag! This was completely impromptu and unbelievably generous. I can't wait to open this growler with my coworkers tomorrow. I love how awesome our BIF beer community is and so fortunate to be a part of it.

Here's a little beer **** to hold you guys over until these summer 6er's start popping up

I'll add to the beer **** some. This is a box I just got for a trade and couldn't be more excited. Well, until I get another delivery tomorrow, possibly two and another one set up for next week. Mmmmm, beer.

I'm in Philly and should be able to meet up on one of those days, they're the right day of the week at least. BM me and let me know your plans and we'll work something out.

Or maybe I mean Monday 8/4....

I have beer mail, but construction has killed the lighting in my house... I will try to get pics before dark tomorrow.

So I'm fairly new to this forum (though been lurking for a long time before actually registering) and recently did my first trade (though it was on another site) -- wondering what I'd need to do to get on the next locals BIF? I don't have a lot of money right now to do big trades, but feel like a BIF (especially one where you're sending locals) would be right up my alley in terms of budget

Not sure if he is a big beer guy but I can definitely meet up with you guys when you are here in Columbus. Grab beers. Share some beer. Whatever you are down with.

If you have some beer you want here, I can save you the search and grab some stuff for you as well.

Thanks. Sept/Oct is gonna be hectic with student teaching, but will probably be a great time to get in on a locals BIF. I've been keeping an eye on this thread the last 2 weeks or so and just browsing this and other threads in the forums, kinda excited to have a chance at something like this.

Not sure what his plans are, but if there is any chance in doing it you should meet up with @kgncfl. He is a great guy!

Shouldn't be a problem to get you in to Round 3 of this one in the fall, but we're a little skittish of new guys (http://www.beeradvocate.com/communi...ading-practices-the_craft_deviant_rob.193929/ for more info) so you'll be expected to ship first. In the meantime, look out for other NBO threads (New BIF Offering) and jump in those threads as well, but again be prepared to ship earlier than everyone else.

Yup, absolutely happy to have you... but we may want you to ship a week early. Always looking for new members. This BIF rocks!

Looking forward to grabbing a beer with him in the Nati. I just hope he speaks in parodies and prose in real life.

Honestly I have not visited Mt Carmel they didn't have a taphouse for a while and it is probably a place I should visit. The Deeper Roots Coffee Brown is probably one of the best brews they have done. The Nut Brown by it self is pretty solid as well.
