What do they mean by your ticket includes 15 pours? Is that how it was last year? I cant seem to find much info on last years FoBab, but that seems like not much considering they are going to have three hundred beers there...

I think its the Illinois Happy Hour Law. Basically it says one cannot have unlimited pours - thus the tickets. I think last year it was like twenty tickets?? Most pour volunteers stop caring towards the end.

It's always been like that, trust me getting enough beer will NOT be a problem

Last year's was 15 pours as well. Trust me, its plenty... especially if the GI stations aren't collecting tickets, again.

If you really need to, you can buy more tickets too. I think they were a $1 each and you can buy as many or as few as you want.

Anyone hear how much the tickets are?

Any info on when/how they'll go on sale? I'm thinking about going for the first time this year too.

Last year they went on sale on August 21st. Sold out in about 5 minutes.

Edit: sold via brown paper tickets.

I believe it was 15 tickets last year and the year before. And that is more than enough.

Well, so far I got my first choice KBS pick-up tickets and won an Upland lottery this year, so hopefully I can keep the streak going.

    a couple of keys are:
-setup a brown paper ticket account and be logged in when the sale starts
-use a computer not a mobile device
-if you don't get a ticket, keep blasting that F5, cuz tickets will periodically be released from carts. seemed like people were still picking up random tickets even an hour after the "sellout"

Just to be an anecdote for the other side, I felt like they were a ton more vigilant about taking tickets last year than they were the year before. I wasn't looking to get sloppy but I was out of tickets (even when attempting to get pours without handing over a ticket) and was only a bit buzzed. The year before I was wrecked and still had a ton of tickets left.
