I like BGN, Greg and a few others I can't even remember the names of (some guy in San Diego and that Irish guy)

I may be alone in this but I find Beer Temple guy's show cringe-worthy. the jokes, the "cute" banter with he and his wife, his sweaters, and the length of the shows (half hour beer reviews?) are all... not personally appealing to me.

I'm not sure I could have said it better myself.

Ronald Theriot is also pretty awesome.

Beer Geek Nation's Chris is my favorite. His knowledge and brevity are key.

Yeah, Greg. Like them. Watch them. But usually skip the middle seeing many of them are like 20 mins.

What Cheers! Sorry to hear Nick lost his mom just a few weeks ago.

I'd like to share a beer with all of them.

Most Americans are used to adjunct lagers so when he talks about beers really in depth like he does it comes off as snobby to the usual Bud drinking Amurrrrican. I personally enjoy his show.

Haven't read every post but I am surprised to see that no has mentioned Joe D??? WTF??? He gets the most hits by far of any reviewer on YT and he's not boring like most of the beer reviewers are on YT. He basically got me into drinking craft. Although he doesn't do beer reviews that much anymore, he just does this "share a beer" thing every week where he gets like 6 or 7 people/beer reviewers on google cam, records it, then uploads it onto YT, everyone is drinking a different beer. I find this show to be kind of boring and just simply too long.

Beer Geek Nation is a good show but for the love of god Chris needs to stop waving his hands around when he's talking! So annoying...

and Greg is good too but enough about putting a date on the bottle! I agree with his assessment that breweries really do need to put a date on the bottle but my wow... he spends like 3 or 4 minutes on every review talking about this.

Overall - I would say i like Master Of Hoppets the most. He's entertaining and his reviews are good and to the point. Although, lately he's been doing mostly European beers which I don't get in my area.

To be honest, the best reviewer of all-time is Michael Jackson - the beer hunter. He was so knowledgeable on beer. It's a shame he's no longer with us. At least we do have a couple of beer reviews on youtube from him. His reviews are very interesting and he wrote several books on beer.

All reviews by TMOH (The Master of Hoppets). Just really enjoy his unbridled enthusiasm and emotion. I really enjoy many of the other popular ones on youtube also but I always look at the TMOH reviews first. I also have similar reactions when I'm trying a phenomenal beer for the first time - my wife calls these "beergasms". My wide DOES NOT like it when I have these in a public forum ;P

Bottom Shelf Beer Reviews, funny stuff.

Beer Geek Nation, although I think he goes overboard on the macro beers, we all know they are nearly flavorless, but he continually tries to make you think they taste bad.

Clements Homebrew, Kevin gives very good honest reviews of everything.

Hah! That's awesome. I can't handle my own sweaters either at times. Maybe I'll throw on one of those flat brim hats everyone from SD loves so much.

Until then, this one's for you!

No, not at all. I really liked that upon being asked what you didn't like, you were critical without being nasty. It's refreshing to see. Everyone's got their own opinions.

Also, what is it with everyone in SoCal hating on collared shirts (and sweaters)? More than once when I've been out there I've been targeted as being from the East Coast because I'm so dressed up. Usually I'm wearing shorts and a polo at the time.

I would have to agree with Chris, the macro brews are really not that good in the taste department. Too grainy/vegetable like and stale in my view. I swear, some of the macros taste like overly cooked vegetables. so bad...

On a side note - I wanted to add to my previous post and say Maria Devan is actually VERY good at describing beer taste/flavor. She might actually be the best on YT at doing this. I just wish she would get a make-over. She always looks like she just rolled out of bed when doing a review.

And real ale craft beer is also one I should not have overlooked. His enthusiasm for beer is contagious. You should watch his review for Firestone Double DBA. Classic stuff... it features one of the best reactions ever for a beer tasting.

I really don't want to sound like a jerk or anything, but does the guy from Beer Geek Nation ever not say "oh wow" after every smell and taste? I swear, I've seen like 10 videos and every time there's an "oh wow" after both the smell and the taste
