So I'm putting this out there cause I got a bit screwed. 2 months ago we agreed on a trade that involved futures. He wanted a bunch of Alamanac stuff which included the future release of Dogpatch Sour. I wanted a couple bottles each of Nocturne and Atrial. I was WELL over $4$ on this. We kept in contact about the status of the beers...I let him know I got the Almanac strawberry; he said he had the Nocturne in hand waiting on the Atrial. In our conversations he said he wanted Almanac Valley of Hearts Delight (3 bottles of it) too. Low and behold, I found some VOHD, bought it for him and let him know. He was excited and let me know that Atrial was nearing its release. Scale forward 1.5 months, Atrial now is released. I asked him how we were coming along and he said good, he just needed 1 more bottle of Atrial. Longer story short, since the last time I talked to him he hasn't returned any of my messages though I can see that he visits BA daily. I have about $120 worth of beer that I bought specifically to make this trade happen and got stiffed. So for all the other solid BA's, beware of @michael78747...
As others will say, did you initiate a trade request? When was the last time you heard back from him ? Hope this turns out well for you. @michael78747 - What is your side of this story? Defend your reputation.
Created a request but after a month it was automatically closed. Last time I heard was 3 weeks ago...Sent 3 messages since, no response. Also, he contacted me about the trade and that was May 13.
No. I know screwed up, just done want it to happen anyone else. It's a tricky thing when your trading (pre) release.
He just pulled some sh*t. Just told me he had the beer, but since I posted this thread, he says its off; coward. This is an example of not being a BA. I would have let him redeem himself too. Moderator please close this thread.
Here's is recent message to me. Life doesn't revolve around beer; I understand...but when I see you here on BA ignoring my messages , that does mean something.

Why close it? At least give @michael78747 one last chance to tell his side of story or let one of his regular trading partners chime in. He sounds like a dbag in the messages you posted.
They definitely do mean something if you look at this as a community and not the Beer NASDAQ. OP is a great trader I had the pleasure of dealing with previously. Sorry the offender is from ATX; definitely not reflective of the overall BA community here. @F2brewers picked me up recently with a similar trade gone wrong, figured I'd keep the good vibes going. @64vdub Sorry you got screwed over brother. I hate seeing these threads happen to anyone, especially a solid BA like you. Yet another name added to my DTL. Glad it worked out in the end with IrishColonial.
