The first time I read that as Oysters, mushrooms and salt. It's oyster mushrooms, which sounds so much better.

Pretty cool that it takes inspiration from a german gose, but is still distinctively a Jester King beer. The ABV, use of wheat, and salt are right, but definitely not the traditional malt bill of 60/40 wheat/pilsner, no mention or coriander, and of course the Jester King yeast blend is different. I'm excited to give it a try.

    I am guessing soon.

They are bound to release something this next weekend as they did not release anything this weekend.

The last of the Provenance series still needs to happen. And apparently Snorkel. They did mention Provenance was supposed to be late July/early August so that could be either of the next two weekends.

OMG, OMG we need a Reserve Society for this release:rolling_eyes: Rolling eyes and being sarcastic to the people that want a RS...not in the way Jester King is going to release this, or the people that plan their time to hunt this down.

They are definitely marketing this as a Gose, heard as much from the brewers last month. From what I understand they were anticipating a late July release, but early August is definitely a possibility. Apparently the protein-heavy mushrooms add a really silky mouthfeel to the beer. I'm excited to try this, this is truly a fantastic season for Gose in Texas. Jester King, Real Ale, Boulevard is coming with one soon, Leipziger is arriving soon too.

Yeah I thought it said the same thing, then saw on the label that it was suitable for vegetarians and vegans. I was like wait a minute...glad that it's oyster mushrooms and not oysters haha.

No. It's loosely based on Gose and will not be marketed as such, aside from references to Gose as an inspiration. It's a farmhouse ale with oyster mushrooms and smoked sea salt. - Jeff
