Just letting the dude know cuz 25 bucks is a lot for a bomber. Price hasn't been mentioned in this thread. I'd want to know cuz if I wasn't trading these bottles I wouldn't be buying them, but I have a trading partner that wants them despite the high price.

I think it's a negative personally. I agree that $20 would be a better price BA or not.

BA or not???? thats such a noob comment. if a beer costs a lot of money to make, then your going to have to pay more to buy it. If the $5 is going to make or break you, dont buy the beer...more for me (and everyone else you appreciates)

"Noob comment" - nice. I'm sorry I'm not allowed to have an opinion different than yours. I realize that FB is smaller than some other breweries putting out BA beers but I still think that the $25 is more than it should be. That's my opinion on it and I'd appreciate if you would respect it. No need to go into the "more beers for me and everyone else" tirade.

do either of you have any idea the time or cost of actually barrel ageing a beer? No, you dont, or you woulndt be btiching about the cost of a $25 22oz bottle...BA Abraxas sells for $30...BA Sump is $25...some of the BA Bruery bottles are $40+...this is not far off at all from where it should be. Again, if you think its too much..dont buy the damn beer...plenty of us will...

Yeah, stop complaining and just buy it for $25 before they decide to lower the price.
How am I supposed to trade for DB huna and BA abraxas with a $15 bottle?

Sam you're one of a kind dude!

Anyway, price points are subjective, everyone has different standards. I should have realized this was the same thread really, didn't mean to post the price again today. Comes off pretty lame of me and it was just a mistake.

Does anyone know how many have been bottled?
My first time at FB will be tomorrow night during the release....just happened that way
Any tips on parking or navigating the area?
I see there a tap takeover at WoB in Coral Gables too, is "No crust" usually available on tap at FB or should I plan to hit WoB for that?
    Thx for the input

No idea how many bottled, but as far as No Crusts, their website has a list of what they have on draft and it's on there . . . today. Obviously no guarantees for tomorrow night.

By the way, the info I had previously about BA Muy Bonita not being on tap was wrong. Funky Buddha posted that they'll have it available on draft starting at 5 pm. So if somebody just wants to try a glass and not drop $25 on a bottle, there's always that.

FWIW: individuals don't HAVE to know the actual time and expense. They can just reference all of these other breweries similar BA beers and use their prices to compare. Obviously brewery size, economies of scale, time in the barrels, etc all factor in to each breweries costs. But in the end, the brewery CAN and SHOULD charge whatever they can get for their bottles if they want. They are in business to make money and great beer and more money means more great beer for those willing to pay for it.

I've been sticker-shocked by beers before, so I actually appreciate when @jivex5k and others mention the price.

I spoke with the FB guys yesterday. They are expecting an enormous crowd tonight. This is their first barrel-aged bottle release and the hype is huge. To whoever asked, YES I would show up early and get a spot near the tables in the warehouse. Unless you are an Imperial Club member, there will be a long wait. I'd suggest having someone with you so one can go grab beers or food while you wait. The BA Muy Bonita should be spectacular. And if it is still on tap (and you like sweeter beers) I highly recommend the Baklava Braggot. That and the "Snowed In" were the highlights of my visit yesterday. And the suggestion to pickup Laspadas subs is a good one. Those guys are the Westy XII of the sub sandwich world. Anyone who has tried them would agree. They just moved locations and are almost at the Beach on Commercial Blvd (north side) between the Intracoastal and A1A. Big red banner.
