CBC Cans

yes excellent post and observation!! how about Red God in cans as well, again , all year round?

 

Remain in the Light is my kind of pilsner. It's got a really bracing, intense, palate-cleansing bitterness that I miss in most pilsners. If you lean towards things like Prima Pils and Noble Pils ("German" pils) over something like SN Summerfest ("Czech" pils), give this one a shot.

If we're making requests, mine would be for the CBC to start canning what they really do best: Belgian styles (a saison or BPA?) and the porter. Both styles are hard to find 6pks and are probably doable without undue cost or brewhouse time.

 

I hope Will & Co. can Spring Training next year. Hell, I hope they dump the bomber format entirely and move everything to cans. How crushable would The Great Pumpkin be in cans? Throw in my vote for any of their Belgian pales in cans too.

Since we're doing wish lists, bombers of YouEnjoyMyStout, Blunderbuss, Arquebuss or other big beers would be amazing. But move all the other stuff to cans.

 

Pipe dream? I want a canned sour.

 

Where is everyone seeing the Remain in the LIGHT? ANY ONE SEE IT I CT??

 

i want a pneumatic tube transporting bottles of cerise cassee to my apartment, my workplace, and to my parents house for when i visit.

 

I really liked Remain In Light, too. Very nice German style pilsner. As was noted previously, very clean taste with noticeable but not distracting bitterness.

 

Kay's Beer manager said they are getting a fresh batch of cans in on Monday Afternoon. I haven't tried it before, but I was a fan of the flower child in cans, so will defiantly try the remaining light out.

 

Flower Child is dope, love the cans. Best beer from these guys IMO

 

I love Flower Child too, and it might be the best beer CBC has ever sold in bottles or cans, but for me, the best stuff they make is only available on draft. The tap list right now is especially killer. If you haven't been in lately, do yourself a favor and drop in. Arquebus is a real treat. OM is a very special beer too. I could go on...

 

Will join the rest to say I enjoyed the Remain in Light immensely. Would drink it year round if I could.

 

I just had a can at Little Pub in Ridgefield but I have not seen it in package stores. Good beer!

 

Picked up a 6pk on Monday at Kay's wines in East Hartford, they had about 3 cases of it. It's a great beer for the summer. Wish there was more CBC stuff to around in CT to try.

I wonder why they didn't can "The Great Pumpkin"(?) I sure wish they had.

 

Great Pumpkin Ale is available in bombers and (I'm guessing) it's typically such a popular seller that they don't need to bother with cans.

 

Remain in Light is great stuff. My wife and I enjoyed it so much at Gathering of the Vibes this year… especially during the Lotus "Talking Heads Desconstructed" set. amazing stuff!!!
