Snowed In

Sadly, there aren't any great Hefe beers in my area, so that makes the Floridian stand out even moreso. Raspberry Floridian was a very solid rendition, as well. Definitely my favorite Core beer from FB, I'm a sucker for that banana ester aroma...

Yes! How did we all miss the Snow - Informer possibility...Not sure the 20 somethings would catch it, but a lot of us would.

So that release went well I'd have to say. I met hopzilla, or rather found out who he is as I have met him many times before. Had some good beer, line wasn't crazy, it was fairly crowded but it was worse during the world cup.

You know, one thing that bothered me though was customers being treated like kids. My buddy came to the bar while his wife was in line to get them a couple beers, they wouldn't give him more than 1 beer. They said she had to be there like he's trying to sneak beer to some underage kids.

Other than that small complaint it was a solid night.

 

I saw someone else get turned down at the bar when they asked for 2 beers. I think they have to do that because they don't have anyone checking IDs at the door and don't use wristbands, so it's probably just a liability thing.

 

Yeah, good times. No doubt we'll run into each other again, without the large crowds.

I got denied trying to get two drinks as well as they wanted the ID of my buddy who was in line. Inconvenience for sure but the event ran pretty smoothly. Props to FB for handling the crowds well.

 

not having to wait in that line was worth every penny of the imperial membership.
