Stuck on a 2-hour layover. If it were not for Boson lager the choices would be between 4 BMC products.

It is great that you always depend on them when there is no other craft option.

This is exactly the scenario that first got me into craft beer.

Yeah, Boston Lager is better than BMC, but I'm glad that SF-area airports have Anchor, SD-area has all kinds of things, and that one time I was stuck in Vegas there was an Irish pub with Guinness on Nitro. I've been stuck in enough airports the past year that the pint of Boston Lager while waiting for a plane has gotten old.

Agreed, SA is always there and Boston Lager really always is a good choice.

Sam Adams and Yuengling--the craft oases in deserts of BMC. The former is much better, but often in the South the latter is the only option.

After all of these years I still truly enjoy Boston Lager. Not just as a fallback when there's nothing better, but sometimes as a first choice when supposedly "better" beers are available.

Totally agree about it still bein a great beer. It was my gateway beer 10 years ago while I don't drink it as often I still love it.

Ditto. Even though I don't buy a ton of Sam Adams much anymore, they still have a place in my heart. And although I've tried so many of their special releases and brewery-only releases over the years, Boston Lager is probably still my favorite.

I'm grateful for Jim Koch putting something to depend on in just about every bar in America.

Agreed. When a 2 - 3 hour layover demands a pint (or three) to pass the time. Sam Adams fits the bill nicely. Also, I still look forward to their Harvest collection every Fall.

I really applaud Boston Beer Company for the effort they must put into getting their beer distributed. I don't think I've been in a restaurant/bar/stadium/concert in the last few years that had BMC and not at least SABL.

I'd take Sam Adams over Guinness.

My local gun club had nothing but BMC for years. Last fall they put on Sam seasonal and I couldn't be happier. I sat and had 2 Summer's last Monday and loved it. Thank god for BBC!

Yuengling isn't craft beer, it actually strongly resembles BMC. Someone is watching me.
