Congrats, and welcome to the great wide world of good beer. However, you make me feel like I have a problem. After throwing out some revisits, I have had 100 different/ new beers since the middle of March! I keep finding some real gems though, so you still have tons to look forward too.

Edit: on a side note, this thread may be deleted since someone has an itchy trigger finger this week. The "beer jokes" and "beer names" vanished into the night. Maybe there were old threads that covered the same topics, but they were surly beer related. One suggestion for the moderators, there are a lot of new people here in the last year or 2, and we are all too lazy to search forums (home page only myself 90% of time), and even if there is one, it may be outdated. Just an idea (aka constructive criticism)

 

I'm 23 and I've managed to try about 200 different kinds of beers in my day. At my current rate/goal I should reach about 4,900 beers by the time im 70.....

 

100 beers in 3 years is the way to do it. Alternatively, you could go to a beer fest and try 100 in 3 hours but I don't think you'd appreciate them nearly as much. Cheers and keep on advocating good beer!

 

I estimate I've had about 300 beers.

 

I wish I had known about this site while I was in the Marines, 21 years and 10 overseas trips I "sampled" hundreds of beers, never thought about rating them. I only have 20 on the official tally here. But hey, just a good excuse to revisit and rekindle that friendship "mano y cerveza"!!

Good milestone! 2-5 beers a month I would consider a drinking problem. You can do better.

I am at around 50 with 30 being in the last couple years. I was blowing it.
