I'll be off the water by 10 and joining you. A BA coffee stout sounds like a good way to start the weekend

Happy Friday good sirs and madames! As you know @kerry4porters crushed my porch the other day with all manner of fine beer and today I have him to thank for this one. Holy heck and a hen basket! This is the best Triple IPA that I have had. It's not really DIPA because the cutoff is 10% abv and this is 10.1%. personally I think the cutoff should be 9.5% but that's a whole other discussion. CHEERS!

A Little Sumpin' Sumpin' to start the weekend
    [IMG]
(Tomorrow gonna grab a Little Sumpin' Extra )

Forgot this was a wheat beer :grimacing: also forgot how much I like it :stuck_out_tongue:... Smooth, modest bitterness, features all the C hops...

And the refill, courtesy of bottle #2...

    Cheers :grinning:

Funny what happens when you go back and revisit the old favorites. I've had it go both ways - I recall what I liked in the first place and think it's even better, or I have the WTF was I thinking moment because it doesn't measure up. Mostly the first one though.

Beautiful low humidity day here in NE and I will be out planting shrubbery...half day Friday's because the corporate wheels want to avoid traffic RULE.

I've read the discussions about posting pictures from the night before and I agree with them... It's cheap, and I am guilty of it.

Yet I still want to share what I've been drinking, and really only have the availability to post pictures in the mornings, so I have come up with a solution. I am just going to post my pictures on Friday and call it my own What Beer Did You Drink This Week...

I'm not searching for likes, but want to share. Does anything think this is a BAD idea to post here? Would it be good to have a separate thread for people like me to do this or would that be repetitive?

    Let me know

Oh and here is what I drank this week:

Seeing how Pumking and a few other autumn seasonals are trickling out, this probably can't be far behind with Christmas a mere five months away. In the meantime, let's pretend and enjoy the warmer weather!

Found this in the beer fridge a couple of days ago while rotating bottles. Spices are more subdued, but still damn tasty. Cheers to the weekend!

I would say post it to the days thread that applies. If you had it on friday post it to fridays WBAYDN if you have it on saturday post it there? Good?

I will check in on the topic by saying that I agree it becomes a place for stock photos and for posts that have no real connection other than to brag about what you had if ONE they are not your own pic and if TWO they are from a different day.

In my opinion, it's cool given the situation, but @utopiajane provides a good alternative too. Everyone's circumstances are different, right? I mean, if we go and make too many hard and fast rules about things nobody will want to play and above all this thread (I think) is supposed to be fun. If another thread gets created, then it's like breaking up the band. I mean, look what happened to Van Halen...

Maybe just a little disclaimer like you have included is a good idea and provides a sufficient explanation.
