Where should BeerAdvocate host a fest?

My $0.02. As a NH resident, Chicago seems like the place to be. It looks like a vibrant beer community with some stellar upstarts, Pipeworks to name one.

 

Denver seems like a logical choice given its central location in the country and the beer scene there.

Bend would be a really cool place if looking for a smaller town.

SD makes sense.

Northern Cali makes sense.

Seattle would be appreciated

 

Chicago or DC

 

Vegas would be fun. I went to the Great Las Vegas Beer Fest in March which was hosted in old town and was a LOT of fun. they shut down a few square blocks and has like 80+ brewers.

 

Asheville NC, lots of great Beer pubs and Taverns, good mix of young and old, plenty of micro and craft breweries, a good German community. Nice weather. Good food. Plenty of Hotels. Nice downtown and places to hold it.

Second would be Atlanta. Same reasons.

 

Chicago or North Carolina.

 

Can I get a vote for Indianapolis?
1. Easy to travel in and out of.
2. Lots of places to stay
3. Close enough to all of the big names from the Midwest.
4. A heavy population of beer enthusiasts!

While I would like to see it Richmond, VA, Asheville, NC would be nice, as well as D.C.

 

Greedily, I say New Orleans. Great, fun city with the necessary hotels and an up and coming (finally) craft beer scene.

Other than NOLA, Chicago would also make sense as ot has all of the above attributes plus its centrally located. Also, Three Floyd's. 'Nuff said.

If you had one in Tampa, it would give me an excuse to volunteer and hit Cigar City.
If you did one in Lynn MA, it would be very close to my house. Your choice, both would be acceptable, with enough notice.

 

Gotta give Indianapolis another vote. Biased? Absolutely; but hey we know how to throw a major party (hello Super Bowl XLVI!). Easy city to travel to, cost friendly, good thriving beer scene, and great people. Come on over!
