For me, it's porter. Doesn't matter how well-made it is. I just am not impressed. I love stouts and I love pales and browns. But I just don't care at all for that in-between bastard child.

I think porters are fantastic. I'll probably catch some flak for this, but I actually don't care for a lot of Saisons or Wit/Wheat/White beers. Of course there are exceptions, but generally I avoid them.

So far id have to say Saisons. I am not completely through trying new ones but I just cant handle the yeast flavor. I have disliked styles before and turned around and enjoyed them so who knows what the future holds.

sours. I have learned to really like a couple other styles; tripels I did not like when I started and love now. Practice has not improved sours for me. They can seem interesting at first, but all taste like vinegar or other acid as I keep drinking. I just don't get them. In a way it's a good thing. I spend a lot of time and money on good stouts and barley wines, glad I don't have to chase this popular style too.

I just can't get behind quads and BDSAs, but since they're the same thing, I really just don't like them no matter how many times I try them. Same with Wee Heavy.

Gueuze - I'm developing an appreciation for the Lambics and this style will be the next progression for me. I wish I could say I love every style of beer out there and being a homebrewer, I really appreciate the science behind the different styles because it's an art form.

I just do not want to taste anything bitter in my beer.
    That is just me.

Actually, it was the original child. One might say stouts are the step-children.

Re the topic at hand, it's anything unbalanced towards the malts. Like Oktoberfest or Bock. Need a little hop bite to cleanse the palate.

DIPA's. But I like Heady Topper. In a glass. Not from the can.

And Oktoberfest/Marzen. I can force down a Sam's, though. If I had to.

    Whatta I know?

    To be first in: AAL

but on a serious note, Witbier and various takes don't do it for me.

I haven't found many good amber ales, either. And I am lukewarm on saisons versus most ratings, apparently.

I don't think there is a style I really 'dislike,' I think there are just styles I like a little less than everything else. Sours, (some) American Strong Ales, and Wee Heavy's. Also not of fan of BBA beers

I want to like sours I really do but I just don't get it. I think maybe I need to try a few different ones to try and appreciate them but the price on lots of them can be a bit prohibitive. I'll get there I guess.

Pumpkin beers, I just don't like em. I don't know what it is, it's not like I haven't tried to like em.

Used to be black ipa's but I had clown shoes hoppy feet the other day and enjoyed it.
I still don't exactly love the style but I'm warming up to it

Count me in on sours. I've probably tried between 8-10 different ones. I don't hate them, but I just haven't found one that I want another one of when I'm done. In fact, I usually leave the last sip or two in the glass whenever I've tried one.
