I guess I would have to say Ambers. Just don't cut it for me.

Saisons definitely, I have loved almost every other kind of beer but it is something with the fruitiness derived from the yeasts that really gets me. I keep trying them but have never craved having another one.

Same here. I would love to continue trying many more to see if my palate adapts, but I unfortunately can't afford to try them very often. So when I splurge, I get something that's going to knock my socks off.

If you havent yet, try one <1 month old stored cold (as young as impossible, and always cold) and I bet you'll get the hype :grinning: Lagunitas Hop Stoopid IMO/IME is the most available, and also sweet enough that it's turned many of my High Life drinking friends into hop heads. Cheers

Anything with coffee. Coffee flavor from the roasted barley/grain is fine, but added coffee is ICK

Radlers. I hate sweetened drinks. Sugar tastes bad to me, I guess thats why I've never had any dentist work besides cleaning in 56 years. Some milk stouts get pretty close to undrinkable too. And don't even mention the -ritas. I took one sip of one and nearly puked.

Not a huge fan of Flanders Red Ales. Last time I had one, though, was about 2 years ago. I'm thinking about giving them another go.

I'll have to agree with mudbug, anything overly sweetened.

Would it help if a brewery decided to start calling their stout a porter and their porter a stout?

I too am not fond of acidic drinks, but be warned, carbonation kills your enamel. It sounds like you have good genes regarding it, I envy you! :stuck_out_tongue: Cheers

I LOVE coffee, but I don't like many with coffee either. I'm waiting for one with coffee and chiles in a rye barrel. Dear God..

Porters in my experience drink much lighter, and the hops stand out much more. Cheers

Never had one, but I'm 99% sure I would not like sours, as I hate sour drinks and candy.

Wheat beers, saisons and beers made with brett. I'm trying, dammit, but I just can't get into it.

Spiced Belgian ales don't do anything for me, and so far, I haven't had a Scotch Ale that agreed with me - but I've only tried a couple.
