You got a whole week? Check out the LA/OC area for some great brewery's and brewpubs.

Sort of a whole week... I'm down for a wedding so a lot of the time is already taken. I plan on heading to Father's Office, The Bruery, Beachwood BBQ. Any other suggestions would be great!! Not sure yet on the best place to pick up beer...

Add Noble. Bottle Logic. Mr K's for bottles (outside of The Bruery).

Here is one more OC place that may be worth going to:

The Playground in Santa Ana - their draft list varies in quality, sometimes being incredible to other times being so-so, but they usually have lots of local stuff that isn't available elsewhere. I also really like their pricing/pouring system - all beers are $5, but they only alter how much you get.

Overpriced and closed on weekends. Try hitting up whole foods or total wine.

To second The Playground, Native Son Alehouse just opened up across the street (here's a view from their place, which is atop Taquerias Guadalajara):

For breweries in the Anahiem area ... I consider these 4 the "top tier" = The Bruery, Noble, Valiant & Aleworks ... HOPARAZZI will be added to the top tier if it ever freaking opens

if you are looking for a standard grocery/corporate style market i would suggest this. If you are looking for something unique while you are visting california, and willing to spend an extra dollar to support a local bottle shop/bar i would suggest hollingsheads. I know when i visit an unfamiliar areas while im out of town i want to see some character. Ive never scored bottles of Hommage while drinking fresh row 2 hill 56 at many places, but i have gotten some bomb vegan lasagna at whole foods.

only no 2. in orange county.

Jeez, you like Noble so much you split it up and made em two of the best 4 breweries in Anaheim?!?!

hollingsheads has a great tap list so I would at least check what they have on taphunter, but yeah it is definitely overpriced and the service is not the best. Also bootleggers brewery isn't too far and its real good (gotta try that knuckle sandwich if you like the IIPAs)

Skip Hollingshead. Overpriced and service is iffy at best.

Has anyone here been to the Grove of Anaheim? Going to a gig in two weeks and was wondering if they have anything good there? Of course I'll be visiting Noble across the street for a few. Maybe more if the Grove doesn't have anything. thanks.
