Most embarassing beer situation

    My most embarrassing moment was when I ordered an O'douls at a restaurant, not knowing what it was. I whipped out my ID proudly when I ordered it. When it arrived at the table, everyone started laughing at me. I joke about it each time I go to this particular restaurant.

    I honestly though beer 30 was grape soda when i first saw it. Grape soda would have tasted much better in that situation.

    I was feeling pretty good at a festival the other week and i rode a mechanical bull. That was pretty embarassing. Beer was delicious though.

    Haha. I just had to look it up. It definitely looks like grape soda, and I don't want to know what it tastes like.

    It tasted like it was brewed with a pile of stinky unwashed underwear, and fermented in a dumpster. I'm pretty sure melanie brewing is out of business. Who knows haha.

    That's all that matters. At least you had beer to counteract the embarrassment. I was stuck with my O'douls:slight_frown:

    Haha! You just reminded me of a time I took my friend out for his birthday, I insisted on getting him his first beer which was served in a 32oz mug. I had the waitress secretly fill it with 2 bottles of O'douls. After that he was full of non-alcholic beer for a good hour and I informed him what he just drank. Good times.

    As for me, nothing comes to mind right away but I'm sure it will sooner or later.

    That's awesome! Hopefully he didn't act like he was tipsy after drinking it. That would have been very embarrassing.

    Haha, no he didn't act tipsy or anything, we all had a good laugh though because he couldn't drink anything else for a little while because he was too full.

    My roommates in college bought this crap. You know its bad when i criticized them while holding a Keystone Light. And there's my embarrassing moment.

    I always get a kick out of filling up a shopping cart with beer at grocery stores. I go in for something specific (via Beer Finders), but then I'll see pre-aged strongs/stouts, and, you know.. :stuck_out_tongue:

    There have been studies that have proven that a lot of a drunk person's behavior depends on the fact that they think they're getting drunk. They told a bunch of college students there were doing an experiment and served them drinks which they thought had alcohol in them, and they all acted a fool despite being sober. It's a pretty funny video to watch.

    My wife and I and another couple were spending the weekend at a lake house. When we got there, the gate was locked and we didn't have a key. I was holding a Michelob Amber (nope, that's not the embarrassing part). In my anger, I flung the bottle to the ground. Somehow, every ounce of brew in that bottle came out, sat in mid-air for a full 2 seconds...then splashed all over me. Keep in mind, this was a long time ago. Not many craft beers I drink today are worth flinging to the ground, no matter how mad you are.
