Have you ever thought about the total volume of Beer you've consumed over your lifetime or the total amount you've spent? That's a scary thought, but I rationalize it because I've enjoyed every second of it!

I look at it like this: you only live once and dammit, I'm going to enjoy it.

I try not to think about how much money I have spent in the last couple of years on beer, because it makes me physically ill.

Yep, I have indeed thought about this several times. Like rolltide8425 said, what better thing to spend your hard-earned cash and time on then drinking amazing beers with great friends?!

Sure, I've spent a lot of money and I've gained a few pounds, but I wouldn't give it up for anything.

If I didn't have a thing for beer, playing golf, and love to work on my cars (along with having a family I might add) I would be flush with cash and poor in every other way.

At least it's more satisfying than strippers and lottery tickets!

I doubt there is beer in the afterlife. Get it while you can.

I believe the phrase is "In heaven there's no beer, and that is why we drink it here.'

Luckily for me I've heard Valhalla has plenty of booze to share.

Not really sure why it would be any different from other foods. I've consumed thousands of pounds of food in my 23 years, yet only weigh 150. In one end, out the other.

When you think of anything mundane that you've done in your lifetime and add it up, whether it's drinking beer, putting shampoo in your hair, or gasoline put into a car, anything can sound stratospheric.

I'm not sure about the exact amount but no doubt about one thing, it would be enough to fill the average sized backyard swimming pool.

I did a very, very rough calculation and came up with around 11,700 pints of 'normal' (4-5% ABV) strength beer to date

    Edit - I'm 32

Second edit - and of course we're talking imperial pints here

I have been drinking since I was 13-14. My early years were spent drinking macro beers. I'm 42, in very good physical condition, lean, a college grad, happy, + I have a great career. Beer has made me a better person overall  I'm going to keep drinking, of course in moderation.
