Anderson Valley The Kimmie, The Yink, & The Gose Ale....lives up to the hype. I;m glad I snatched the last couple six packs as I have been waiting for this to show up for the past few months!

Listening to a little "Yes", Roundabout, with a pre dinner brewski. I am so stoked to see them in about 10 days,[IMG] and I believe they will start with Roundabout since they are playing the whole Fragile album. Whoopee!!

Pretty cool tune... I usually steer well clear of anything in the dance realm, but they have a distinct 80's vibe that grabbed my interest, like a jacked up Talk Talk.

Wrapping the night up with this, I'm going to let it warm up for a few minutes because at first sip it's rather disjointedly punching my taste buds with the chocolate and peanut butter with a little too thin mouthfeel.

Bodhi is THE F-ing BOMB!!! Lagunitas Sucks is one of my favorites and Bodhi blows it out of the water. I was floored by this one. Too bad it's going to take them another year or two to bottle that.

Really enjoyable IPA. Taste of tangerine, peach, melon, grapefruit, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, floral, grass, pine and some moderate caramel/lightly toasted bread malt sweetness. Nice firm pine resin bitterness on the finish. Very crisp, smooth, and fairly sticky mouthfeel. Well done.

This was just excellent. Best of the pack yet, got a few left til I can take down the tent. Taste of chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, toast, toffee, raisin, brown bread, light char, light nuttiness, herbal, and roasted earthiness. Nice amount of earthy herbal bitterness on the finish. Very well balanced flavors with plenty of complexity. Well balanced malt/bitterness and very smooth drinking for the ABV. Great stuff.

Very nice gueuze. Taste of tart green apple, lemon, white grape, wet hay, straw, grass, leather, oak, musty funk, white vinegar, wheat, light pepper, and yeast/oak earthiness. Nice crisp and balanced acidity on the finish. Maybe not as acidic as some others, but there is a nice amount. Well carbonated, crisp, and dry finish with some acidity on the tongue lingering. Very nice for the availability. Maybe not as complex as some others, but you cannot go wrong here.

This was certainly interesting, especially on the first nose. A prominent amount of spicy/earthy wasabi there with some moderate citrus and caramel/toasty malts. Tastes were more nicely balance: grapefruit, orange zest, citrus peel, caramel, toast, earthy wasabi, herbal, floral, grass, and light pine. Moderate earthy citrus hop bitterness and wasabi spice on the finish. Very smooth and well balanced malt/bitterness with the wasabi spicing. I always love getting these DFH creations, but it does take a little bit to get used to them, and it got a lot more enjoyable after the first few sips. The wasabi feels almost like an earthier hop variety now. Overall, very nice beer.
