    We get other Crazy Mountain beers down here, but I haven't seen this one yet.

    Great read. Very well researched, knowledgeable, quite unlike lots of modern beer journalism. Smithsonian is a class publication. I love the idea of Native American botanicals finding their way into our brew!

    "A weed is a plant whose job is yet to be discovered," Bates says, "and this was truly being listed as a weed."

    I want to grow some of his weeds. The mention of an extra buzz added by the hops sounds very interesting.
