Most embarassing beer situation

I really wish you had given this response.

 

I once woke up with bloody semi-circles in the palms of both hands. Turns out the prior night, while 100% hammered drunk at a house party, I went to the fridge for another Corona, and kept forgetting Coronas aren't twist-offs. I guess when I couldn't open it with my right hand, I tried my left. The moral of this story is never drink Corona.

 

My most embarrassing beer moment hasn't happened yet. My wife constantly complains that my "beer cellar" in the coat closet and is taking up too much valuable real estate in our NYC apartment. It sure will be embarrassing if/when she discovers the other half of my cellar on the bottom of one of our other closets behind the shoe rack.

 

I've done this too. Not with Coronas though (can't remember exactly what beers).

 

I gambled with a fart and lost while pouring myself a beer off the keg at a house party in college. Completely destroyed my pants. Luckily, I was able to bounce out before anyone caught on. Walked home, threw my pants in the washer, took a shower and went back. That was a pretty embarrassing beer situation, even if only I knew it happened.

 

Why again was this your most embarrassing moment? Bartender screwed up your request/order that's all I got from it. I'm not following your story I guess.

 

i was just having lunch, grabbed for my beer, slipped out of my grubby, greasy fingers, and the glass shattered all over the bar. the guy next to me jumped about a foot. felt like a dumbass.

 

Accidentally tried to order a Maceo at WW, when I was trying to order Malice. They were like, thats not us, and I was like shoot meant to say malice. Not too embarrassing except I spend a lot of time at WW and shouldn't have slipped up and mentioned a competitor's beer.

 

Well the story is pretty long so ill post the important parts

Beer festival, passed out, woke up covered in a white sheet from an ambulance, surrounded by police and paramedics, blood pressure cuff on, was told I was unresponsive for a while.

There’s more to it but that’s the jest.

 

Guilty..... At least the guy was nice about it.

 

"Where is your three floyds at?" I felt like a huge dumbass once I realized that distribution was different by state. Luckily the guys there are cool and don't bring it up too often haha

I asked for Westy 12 (it was #1 at the time). Beer guy was super nice, and in fact I still go to that store (4 years later).

I feel like I'm taking stupid pills today but what did you do wrong? Why did she make a fuss about it? Was there a menu you missed? A listing on the wall you missed? Or are you supposed to just randomly order whatever beer/vintage and hope that they have it?

Maybe it was more like "why do you want to see bottles when we have this amazing tap list?" Either way, that's the most pretentious response I've ever heard a bartender has made I think. Fuck that bartender.
