Did you also tweet this, post on FB, Google+, maybe even LinkedIn and every other social media? I don't understand the need for this post.

 

I see, seemed more like a brag post versus a "Has anyone else had stores hold FB lotteries and never follow through only to call months later and find out still have it?" Even your title, KBS is quite misleading.

Congrats on landing a bunch of KBS?

 

One time I bought beer at my local liquor store. They have boxes stacked up near the checkout isles for you to use to carry your beer. So I picked a box. Turns out it was more flimsy than I expected. I got my beer home safely, but then I recycled the box.

 

So an employee within the store asks you to Like them on Facebook as there will be a raffle to purchase KBS. There doesn't appear to be any other announcement about the raffle (Facebook, etc). You regularly follow up with them about it & they know nothing about it. You then decide it's time to call them out and reference how their distributor would not be pleased about this clearly deceptive practice. To have you stop bugging them they sell you a 4 pk. You are satisfied as you now have your 5th KBS 4 pk (oh yeah you gave 1 away)

Wouldn't the 'right' thing to do be to make them honor the raffle or were you that confident of winning the raffle and felt the raffle process unnecessary?

Couldn't you have just unliked them on Facebook?

Have you considered publishing this story? It was a a thrilling read from beginning to end. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. And the ending, where you bought another 4-pack of beer, I totally didn't see that coming. I mean, I was completely blown away!
