Now I know you're drunk. You don't even remember telling me... To be fair, that was like 2 hours ago.

 

Well that would truly make Disneyland the "happiest place on Earth" for me!!!

 

Kicking Friday off with a "new to me" beer, Belgium continues to stretch my understanding of beer.

They say patience is a virtue, one this beer tests. Definitely worth the wait.

Starting the weekend with a little beer camp.

 

Following up the Belgian with a double IPA, this one is working for me.

 

I don't have the ability to take a picture right now, but right now I'm enjoying a Brazilian quad.

Wals Quadruppel- Absolutely delicious rum flavor in this guy- it was aged on cachaca soaked oak chips. Huge vanilla and dark fruit flavor. If you guys drink this one, definitely let it warm it up a bit, it was just ok right out of the bottle, but 20 minutes later- I was in post-work Friday night heaven.

Duet! Duet all night long!!!

 

Absolutely love this beer. I don't need an excuse.

 

So my boss was in town the past two days and we got a lot done with seeing customers, cementing some more business, and kicking back at the end of the day. After a long work day yesterday, ended with a few Heady Toppers smuggled into a minor league baseball game (*cough*), came back to our place after the game and cracked a DuClaw Retribution (a sick and luscious bourbon bomb) followed by sitting on the bar stools in our kitchen jamming on my two acoustic guitars and enjoyed this, he's also a beer and guitar head (apologize, no pictures of the Heady and Retribution...the Heady shot would have been priceless though !!!!!!!!!) :



Now? Just hit the shelves locally and a little creepy to be jammin' on a punkin' stout in 90 degree weather (and enjoyin' it)? Meh.



... It's the Shark 'Nader outside right now that I'm more worried about.
