Founder's Next Backstage Release: ?????

Just saw Founder's posted this is now available at the taproom. Guessing we'll see bottles hit stores soon?

FYI , Just called the Founders store and they said it's $12 OTD with a limit of 4.

 

Today is the official release day so it should be today or next week for stores. I know where I am going in GR tonight

 

It's available in Kzoo. Tiffany's (1 bottle) & Drake's (2 bottles) both have a sign up on Facebook for it. Not sure about Tiffany's but Drake's had about 8-9 cases that I saw

 

I just picked up a bottle in Midland this afternoon.

 

I suspect that this one will linger for a bit.

 

It just landed in Milwaukee. I really dislike the IPL style, so I'll be passing on this unless people report that it's something spectacular.

 

Cracked my bottle, I am fairly impressed. Fairly clean hop profile, pleasant bitterness and enjoyable to drink. If not labeled as an IPL, I doubt that many would be able to tell a difference from an IPA/DIPA. Definitely worth a try.

 

It's on the shelf in Battle Creek.

 

Should hit Oakland county early in the week. Im assuming Holiday will get it on Wednesday

 

Straight up honest: It was a big disappointment for me tonight. Had a pint on draft and was thinking how much better Short's MmmmmKay is.

 

I like it. Had it in the taproom yesterday. I really like the finish of the IPL. Dissenter is good but I get it, hard to live up to the rest of the backstage series.

 

how much longer do we keep saying this? I feel like outside of Blushing Monk and CBS the BS beers are all in that "good" category. Sounds like Dissenter lives up to everything in the BS series except Blushing Monk and CBS.

 

Has anyone looked up the definition for Dissent???

Seems like Founders has not so subtly answered those questioning their backstage selections, as if the "Brewed for Us" motto was not enough.

 

I am an admitted Founders fan boy, but will most definitely be passing on this for $12++ for 22 ounces. Just polished off two sixers of Shorts MMMKay IPL (which was fantastic) that I picked up for $8.49++ each. Just can't justify the cost...

No. They're 750ml.

 

I'm not a huge fan of IPLs but admittedly haven't tried many. Most recently I had Hoponius Union which I thought was decent. I cracked my Dissenter last night and was REALLY impressed. It was such an easy drinking beer with a nice clean hop profile. The alcohol is incredibly deceptive as well. All around, this was much better than I expected. I'm hoping I'm in the minority so I can find some more easily.
