    Taking summer semester. I had a calculus final today, and then a physics final on Wednesday. In between, beer!

    The Brew Kettle's El Lupulo Libre. A very excellent DIPA, though a bit hot. Ohio has a plethora of superb hop-forward beers to offer these days, and I, for one, am not complaining.

    Having a mug of Umbra Dark Cream Ale from Firefly Hollow Brewing in Bristol CT. Well, several mugs really. You mean there's nobody around to share this growler with me? Oh darn.

    It's good and reminds me of a Scottish ale, maybe just a touch hoppier. Just wish I could've gotten to it a bit faster as the carbonation has faded. Still very drinkable though.

    I chipped in to the Kickstarter they had to get off the ground, so yeah, I'll admit I'm a homer. Makes me happy to see them up and running. :slight_smile:

    Wow, I really like this! I'm sure I'm in a dramatic minority, but I found this to be very tasty and eminently drinkable. When I think of Altbieren, I think of Long Trail Ale, and this (to me) is far superior to that. Certainly not a hop bomb, so I guess I see why it didn't get any love. :wink:

    Grilled up some dinner. Here's the step-by-step guide to make a heart attack burger (alas, no bacon; we're out!):

    Step one: grill two patties.

    Step two: add Bleu cheese crumbles and aged Wisconsin cheddar.

    Step three: ???

    Step four: combine into one massive patty. Throw on a bun, enjoy, and profit!

    After 18 hours of volunteer work (actual work at that) this weekend followed by lawn mowing this evening, I am drinking this on the deck while catching up on the BA world.

    Just opened this Rodenbach Ale. Nice beer, but I definitely prefer the grand cru. Already polished off a Double Latte (probably the best in the Beercamp pack,) a Dale's Pale Ale and a Uinta Hop Nosh. Curieux to follow
