    Just under an hour north of ABQ...La Cumbre is my mantra at this point. I've had Elevated and Dank but very excited to try everything they have to offer. Cheers!

    Is he a Chesapeake Bay Retriever by any chance? I say this because he looks just like my dog, Temujin.

    Anyhoo, I kind of hoped this would be like Parabola with some coffee...and it isn't. It isn't at all. Ah well, more for everyone else!

    So true! I thought maybe I was the only dinosaur familiar with that groundbreaking film.

    RIP Ray Harryhausen. I wept last year upon his passing. Among millions, Steven Spielberg, James Cameron, Peter Jackson, George Lucas are a few inspired by his work...and me as well, a humble leper.

    the lonely hearts dub band is also very good. i was not a huge fan of the radiodread album but then again i'm not a big radiohead fan either.

    I had the pleasure of trying that Saturday after receiving in a trade, I agree it is a great IPA and I won't pass by it if I was able to buy it in the US!

    Sipping on an Anderson Valley Boont Amber ale. This beer has really good ratings, but for me it's quite good but not great. Does anyone else get some hints of Banana bread in this brew? I'm wondering if it may have been on the shelf at the beer store too long. Might have to track down another at a different store for a comparison.
