How many beers do you drink a week?

It really depends on what's going on. Some weeks I can put back 20-40 but a great example is this week. The beer fridge is just about empty and I'm saving for my trip to St. Louis on Thursday so I'm rationing. I've had about 2 this week.

Most weeks around 15.

 

Ill usually open 1-2 beers/bottles a night (depending on the size & abv), so roughly 7-14 beers a week.

Tonight, ill be starting off with a Full Sail Bourbon Barrel Porter, paired with a nice maduro cigar of some sorts.

The usual numbers:
Monday - Thursday 0-1
Friday - Sunday 2-4

The Thursday number will go up to 3 pints if out with my beer drinking buddy.
The Friday-Sunday number will increase if there is a hockey or football game, or hanging with friends.

Probably somewhere between 15-20, unless I end up going out or meeting up with some friends, then it may be somewhere around 25-30.

Since it's summer, I think I'm gonna have to change my answer.

Probably 12 per week now on average, if I have the money.

 

I'd guess between four and eight on average. I can go a couple weeks with nothing, then if there's a tasting on.....

 

according to my wife- too many.
1-2 a night, 3-4 nights a week.

having said that, for game 3 of the Stanley Cup finals tonight, going to start with a $ucaba. depending on how the Kings are doing, will determine whether beer #2 is a happy beer or an annoyed beer.

Have tickets to game 4, willl hit the yardhouse and see if there is still Sculpin on tap. Will have that or some Allagash Black pre-gate, as i can't/wont/refuse to pay $14 for a Corona at Staples.

Lots of factors involved here so the count depends on what kind of rationalization I can come up with.
1. How many beers are in the fridge. I don't like to overcrowd but I don't like to make my beer feel lonely.
2. How many of those beers are getting close to being out of date.
3. How much work have I done around the house.
4. Does my local beer store have something I like in growlers.
5. Does my local beer bar have something I like.
6. Does the restaurant I go to have craft beer.
7. What is the ABV of the beers I am drinking. [The higher the ABV, the fewer I can drink, duh]
8. I don't need to bore the crap out of you any longer.

 

1-2 Mon-Thurs (depending on ABV)
2-4 Fri-Sun (again, depending on ABV)

Trying to be controlled and stay within health recommendations. That said, there isn't a day that goes by that I don't have 1.

 

About 10 per week.

 

Sunday through Thursday: 0

Friday and Saturday: 15

 

I cut back on beer as of late, so prob. 5-6 beers a week.

 

10-12 per week, on average. More if I'm not on call, less if I am.

 

20 or so between Friday thru Sunday.

 

I want to keep it around 10. Lately its been 2 a night, so around 15. This week im only at 3 including sunday. Its going to stay below 10 this week. Really trying to save that HotD Fred, Darkness, KBS, Sanctification, and Raison d'Extra. I do have 2 Jai Alai to hold me over, as well as more Lake Erie Monster coming this week (plus my buddy usually packs the box full of extras--normally aged stouts/barleywines and awesome shit). Ill hold to those for later in the month.

 

I have been unable to have fewer than 2 glasses (a bomber or 2 12oz bottles' worth) a night, and 2 days of the week I have 4 glasses... 18 beers/week? I'd like to cut back (calories and cash being my real nemeses), but I feel much better about my habit after reading some of these posts ... Thanks, BA!
